Tailored,
proven
treatment
Therapy can seem mysterious, like how does just talking to someone once a week for an hour help with anything? You’d be surprised. I work with you using methods that are proven and backed by research to help with working with trauma, anxiety, depression, and other things.
Unmasked, unfiltered,
no BS therapy
I am obsessed with healing traumatized brains. By doing that, we will have to meet consistently. We will be teaching your brain all sorts of new wiring.
I’m direct. I care. I will tell you the truth and do my best to help you achieve the goals that your heart dreams of. I’m your healing GPS- we just have to figure out where you want to go.
How are we feeling today?
I know things don’t feel great right now and it took a lot to bring you here, searching for help and answers. We can work together to start helping you feeling less like:
→ “I’m all over the place”
→ “I’m just so overwhelmed.”
→ Insecure about not being accepted by others
→ Have trouble making decisions
What they’re saying
A’s to your Q’s
Here are just a few that are asked often, but if you have questions that aren’t answered here, bring them to our call and I’ll do my best!
-
A few different types-EMDR, TF-CBT, TIST, CBT. But all that means is that we will go slow with your story and use “somatic” (body based) methods to help with physical symptoms.
-
Every week. Once we are looking at discharge, then we gradually decrease to biweekly, then monthly.
-
Therapy can be the best investment you make in yourself–when you do have an hour every week dedicated just to your own healing? Tackling all of the hard things with a professional to guide you?
-
I’m really sorry to hear it and glad that you are thinking about giving it another chance. Therapy can be so amazing when the fit is right–we can chat about it and see how to help you feel comfortable.
-
A commitment to show up. Be consistent and come every week–don’t reschedule because you “feel good today.” Treat it like physical therapy or going to the gym, not like urgent care.
-
I wish I had a good answer for this. You will get out of therapy what you put in it. If you show up, follow recommendations, make time to journal, and spend time getting to know yourself, you’ll feel the changes.
Exploring
other options?
Sometimes it’s not the right time or practical to start therapy. Weekly treatment is a pretty big commitment and life can get in the way, so if it’s not the right time yet, here are other options!
